Donna Wannop LL.B., M.B.A.

Donna Wannop is a recognized leader in performance coaching for lawyers.

She has worked exclusively with members of the legal profession since 1987, and has helped lawyers in a wide variety of different kinds of firms and in all areas of practice. The lawyers Donna has worked with range from those who practice with global full service law firms to those in small boutique practices and solo practitioners.

Donna works with lawyers at all stages of their professional careers, from managing partners of global law firms, executive and management committee members, department heads and practice group leaders and senior partners, right through to first year associates.

With over 25 years of experience in the field, Donna has unparalleled qualifications and expertise, combining her background and in–depth knowledge of the practice of law, business development for lawyers and coaching. Since 1987, she has coached over 1,000 lawyers.

Using a unique, non–traditional approach that is open, flexible and focused entirely on the individual client, Donna assists lawyers in making changes that will allow them to perform at increasingly higher and higher levels and more fully develop their practices.

Donna authored one of the first books on lawyer marketing (Marketing Legal Services, Carswell, 1989). A pioneer in the field of professional services marketing, Donna designed and taught for many years an advanced level Services Marketing course in the M.B.A. program at York University in Toronto (the first of its kind in Canada). She has written and presented numerous articles and papers on subjects related to law firm business development for a wide variety of legal profession specific associations and organizations.
